Pipe piece for the large forge was dropped and it vanished into the wall.

Hello,

This game has been fun and I am enjoying it. I had an issue that came up when I was in forbidden elf area. I was gathering item need to repair the forge there and I had to set down a piece so that i could build a way up and when the piece was set down it went into the wall graphic and vanished. There does not seem to be a way to recover it. Nor as far as I can tell is there a way to reset the piece back to were it was first located. At this point I am asking is my progress broken? Can I still move the game forward deeper into the mines?

If any of you have had this issue and recovered please let me know.

I was able to forge the piece. I actually couldn't find the piece that was in game lol.. I found it after I built the piece and took it there myself. So check the forge and see if you can. I could make all 3, they were all the way at the bottom of the list.

You can build a new one at a forge (it's under "special") - might want to bring the mats for a hearth, forge, and 5 iron for a new pipe so you're not hoofing it all the way from your camp. You seem to get all the mats back when you tear stuff down, so you'll only be out the 5 iron bars for the pipe.
