Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_STACK_OVERFLOW Moria_Win64_Shipping

Game keep crashing. I have a Intel 12700 chip, 64 gigs of ram and a RTX 4070 TI. This is what happens. I can sometimes play the game for a while from a fresh start. I get to a point where I start building OR placing stuff down. For example and I tested this several times I start building a base I'll place foundations down then start setting items like the Hearth then maybe I'll get a chest down, but instantly crash soon as I place it you'll hear the snap noise then crash. When I come back all my stuff is almost gone I'll have a few foundations down and nothing else acts like it stopped saving the game? So I'll start again and as soon as I place something down.... CRASH and go back and stuff is missing again. It seems to only crash for me while placing items down so as it snaps down crash and I lost progress. Now I can run around and do stuff sometimes without crashing but if I try to place anything down anywhere CRASH. It almost acts like it can't handle the amount of items I placed in the world which is very little as I can't build OH this also happens rebuilding something. I've seen this in other games and it was because the save file got so big it would crash, but not sure if that's the case here. This might happen with other things, but I can reproduce this over and over and over again by just building something and placing something down and it will crash every time. BTW this has happened at the start at the first little camp I repaired the stuff in there and place a bench, table or chest and CRASH soon as it snaps down it crashes.

I've reported this and filled out tickets and never heard back. Sent crash logs and all my pc spces. still never heard back from epic. game is almost unplayable well for me.

Try running the game as admin. I haven't had issues with this game but I've seen weird crashes in other games that is fixed by running as admin.

Yes, long queue times for help, still waiting for response to my ticket. for a somewhat similar issue. I would have thought they would have these issues ironed out by now, it's not like this is a new game.

I've tried to run as Admin, but guess what? My controller stops working. Soon as I turn it off controller works again. Strange.

I ran as administrator and it still crashed. I've tried every suggestion I could find, the game is unplayable for me at this point. I would return it if I could, as I'm tired of waiting for a fix. I will think twice about purchasing any future games from this developer.
