Crash Issue, any ideas?

I filed an official bug report and have a ticket pending. However, it has been several days since the automated response (which warns of delays due to being busy). So, I am wondering if anyone has an idea.

The Issue:
After I first downloaded the game, I had the game crash about 10 minutes or so into the character creator. Attempts to restart the game result in a stack fault crash a few seconds after the start screen pops up. Issue persists after Steam file integrity checks and uninstall/reinstall.

I am guessing there is a corrupted file (possibly character related) that was not removed when uninstalling the game. The question is, where is this file?
