I cannot find black diamond

Hi guys any hints please ? i reach the elfs quarter, open all chest but nothing! i lose the possibility of open one of these, beacuse the orchis key fall glitchy in the ground and it desapears xD and the bad part was when i start the dwarf forge! the horde was coming but my sword had no durability, so after various kill i had no choise, i need to escape and i lost the reward of that horde. Any idea ? its possible to re engage the horde ?

I found my first black diamond way after the Elven Quarters. I had found a second mapstone to repair before I found my first black diamond. It dropped off a horde mob.

You find them in orc chests and rarely from orcs, To open an orc chest destroy their banner in the middle of the camp. Sometimes theres a bug that wont spawn them and you can usually fix it by booting up a sandbox game and rushing to an orc chest there, and that tends to fix their spawning back in your story game. Weird bug from way back.

Don't forget your character is fully world independent.
So you can keep starting worlds until you get one.

Orc Chests in the Mines area, killing the Orc boss of the mines area, killing Trolls seems to always drop a black diamond and Orcs have a small % chance to drop them as well.

Keep in mind killing the Orc Boss of an area will stop the Noise mechanic in that zone from being a thing anymore, so you can't farm Hordes (only sieges) once you kill the boss.

Game seems to discourage over-use of Map stones and definitely don't build any gear that uses Black Diamonds, as there's some story related objects that require a good amount of Black Diamonds to use. If you need to you can start a new world to farm more black diamonds and the Pulley that the game wants you to repair in the mines doesn't need to be repaired to progress, you can just build quick platforms and rope ladders to get down without dying. (attach them to the existing structure at the top)

yes my secondo option is to in mine area, but i realy want make the fast travel map before doing that, but no luck, maybe a try a new game

Did you try standing where the key "fell" and pressing and holding down "e" or you "interact" button? This will "pull in" all the resources from around you, and will pull resources out of walls/floors too although the distance is limited.

Hint, Black Diamonds start dropping from orcs/appearing in orc chests in the Mines. So, the area behind the elven quarter. Go to the next area.

You aren’t likely to get any in the elven quarter, you get them beyond that. The orc town area should have a minimum of 3 cheats you can open and all 3 should have about 2 black diamonds each. You also can fight the boss (in campaign mode) for a huge drop of them as well.

Yes, all the stuff on your dwarf will go with you. So you can mule things around worlds if you want.

Keep saving Black Diamonds after doing Orctown and Cryatal Descent. You'll need another 20 of them later on in the game as well.

You'll get them orcs from the mines of moria, it will take a bit of farming for it.

Here you a few tips on Black Diamonds.
they can drop from any goblin and orc
also destory the banner flag to get key to open chest (but this stop them from respawning at there camp)
You can also take on horde an raid events to get them aswell. trolls drops them but they are kinda tought to take out early game .
