How do I get a bigger backpack?

I have played the game through to the Elven area where the statues you need to repair now require Steel rather than Iron. I have repaired every statue up to this point but I still cannot craft a bigger backpack.

Where do I get one from? This game is not fun with such a tiny inventory.

I think you can craft an adventurer's backpack from the workbench needs iron or steel and hide from the deer i'm not to sure atm

Yeah, build a workbench and hunt yourself some creatures in the elven area for hides.
