Does anyone knmnow a reliable methode of getting ironwood or ave a lot to trade?

Just smashing furniture in Dwarrowdelf and beyond really. Break the barrels in the roads as well. Occasionally you’ll find pallets of it as well. Not much else than that.

you can also craft a pickaxe and enchant it one you get the emeralds. then when 'chopping' mushrooms with the pickaxe you get a chance to get ironwood. I just created the lvl 4 pickaxe so i can put aside my master pickaxe (as this one can't be enchanted).

I enchanted my axe to give ironwood. Got stacks of it now..

You can also craft ironwood (at least at the great belegost forge) from metal fragments and wood scraps. 20 of each produces 10 iron woodl

This is the way to have it by the pallet load. wood and metal scrap I had by the thousands In the campaign once you hit dwarrowdelf and you find and repair the Mithril forge it unlocks the recipe. so its a very late game craftable resource.
you can rarely find pallets of ironwood and Urbasam in the desolation, dwarrowdelf and the redlode.

Can confirm, this works and does wonders - I now have more Ironwood than Ubsam(?) from a single stroll through the Elven area
