Is there an end game?
I’m on the fence on buying this. Thanks.

Honestly, answering this well requires you to clarify what you mean by "and end game."

If you mean: "Is there an ending to the game" then emphatically yes.

If you mean: "Is there stuff to do after wrapping up the main plot" then the answer is "mostly yes, but it will be things like 'build nicer bases' and 'finish out achievements' and not 'infinite progression unlocks mode'"

I am not sure any of this answers your question, since what "end game" means is honestly not something I think you'd get any three gamers to agree on, if you asked them.

If you like the general aesthetic of LotR and mechanics similar to Enshrouded I recommend. Has an end boss, followed by "Guess I can start fixing things up before others arrive" meaning the option to repair and rebuild towns as a semi-endless grind loop, including late/post game abilities to remove poison clouds etc.

Not sure what DD's meaning of end is, but mine would be finding the way out of Moria and reunite with the dwarves on the outside. Maybe going all the way back to the Doors of Durin with a way to break the spell. Push the doors open from the inside with a cut-scene of a grand ... exit?

The campaign has a definite end to the story. Beyond that, the only "end game" is building your base up and out, and building whole collections of armor, weapons, and gear until you're "done" with the game.
