Character Missing

My world disappeared a few weeks ago, which was frustrating and heartbreaking due to the amount of resources, weapons, etc. that I had built up, However, I started a new one and carried on because I greatly enjoy the game and at least my char still had some of the end game stuff in inventory. I launched the game today and now the character is gone. Well, alrighty then. How do worlds and characters simply go *poof*? It's incredibly frustrating. OK venting over, thanks for reading.

Did your character, by any chance, has the worn down ring? They may go gollum mode...

Bahahaha that's awesome, but the worn down ring was in a chest in the world that went poof. Soooo maybe that's why I can't see that world??? ;)

That world is "probably" consumed by Sauron and turned into one of the ruin we see in our walkthrough. Neat idea for future DLC or Moria 2, when we have to defeat the previous Lord of Moria, with his/her max level equipments, lost and possessing by the power of the Ring...
tldr: it's a feature, not a bug :)
