Update 2/14/2025:

Hello friends - we are currently working to publish the Dedicated Server files for all to see (free of course) as part of your Tools list. At this time we have a workaround if some of you would like to try this - using SteamCMD.

Please click this link to learn more. This is a very advanced method of installing the Dedicated Server so we recommend that you take caution and read the instructions carefully as we do not officially support this method. Once the matter is resolved with the release you will be able to acquire it normally from Steam (for free of course) and this will install the game in your normal default steamapps folder. We apologize for this delay and will update again when it is ready!

Hi all we are aware of some issues that players have found in update 1.3.3, and while the team investigates, we are here to help! This post will be kept updated with the latest information and workarounds, when possible. We also invite you to write us a ticket if you have any problems, we are here to help!!!

We are actively working on another rapid patch to address the following issues:
-Building stability and buildings blowing up
-The Ink Grinder not working
-Armor Stands not working
-Sieges triggering too often from fast travel

We'll get back to you on timing as soon as possible. Keep those support tickets coming. Especially if you are encountering the stability issues. Videos are great, as well as save files (both the MW and MC saves).

2. WHITE SCREEN / CAN'T START AT MAIN MENU: we’re aware of an issue occurring where players are becoming stuck on a while screen at the start of the game or cannot press the interface buttons at startup. The team are investigating this internally but we’ve found that this issue is occurring primarily to Windows N and KN users. If you install the VP9 Video Extensions via the Windows app and reboot, the game should play the videos correctly for you. 3. What are these "dot walls?"
We see some of you have encountered our famous "dot walls" in Moria. These are an intended part of the game, as the game loads in the next area. They're typically going to appear for 10-15 seconds, but even on systems with lower specs, or if you're online with a limited connection to the host. But they shouldn't last more than a minute or so. If you find they're persisting for you for a very long time, you may wish to try:
-- Save and exit and reload the game, especially if you have been playing for a very long time.
-- Check that you have the latest updated graphics drivers
-- Ensure no background processes, "overlays" or video card graphics managers are running, as these may be hogging your system when playing and incompatible with Return to Moria.
And if your issues persist beyond this, please submit a report with your specs, save and log files for the game to the support team to investigate.

Torch.

The torch light in the game has a very strong effect on the eyes. When the character runs, the color flickers from purple to orange at high speed. Am I the only one with this problem?

White screen with only subs and sound issue here. PV9 VIdeo Extension does not solve, besides 10 more kind of fixes from google.
I hope you fix the issue in 13 days to avoid asking for a refund

It's "very laggy" something that's expected at this point?

I was playing as a single player game and it just felt sludgy.

It's still early access - not sure if this is worth reporting.

Unfortunally I cannot play multiplayer on steam. I get an error message that multiplayer is not available and I should try again later. Anyone else having this issue?

UE4 relies on Media feature pack which is what "N" editions strip away for whatever reason:

Je n'ai rien installé de tout ça, et le jeu tournait parfaitement en version epic games store, à croire que epic bride ou veut limité son moteur de jeu sur d'autres plateforme que la sienne

Je viens de lancé le jeu sous linux via les outils de compatibilité steam et il n'y a eu aucun problème

There is no white screen in the epic version of the game, I hope they will fix it for the steam version.

Enemies spawn inside the base, in hearth radius.

I had a problem with 4K-resolution. Got an error message with out of video memory.

I fixed it with the following steps:
1. Set the screen resolution of the computer to 1920x1080.
2. Start the game (It now runs).
3. In the game options set the graphic resolution to "Window"
and 3840x2160. Save the settings.
4. Quit the game.
5. Set the screen resolution back to 3840x2160.

The game now starts. The intro video is in a small window but the
game itself is in 4K fullscreen.

I have the same problem, it's very annoying to look at.
