Achievements and Stats
Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions about achievements and stats.

Does achievement progress cross over with accounts created or played via the web client?

Yes, progress towards and achievement will be recognised regardless of where it is made, although you will not get recognition for them until you use the Steam client.

For example, the “Knight Errant” achievement, awarded for completing all the campaign quests, is awarded when you login via Steam if you have already completed those quests via the browser client.

Some achievements will not be checked until you complete an action in the Steam client. For example, multiplayer rating achievements like "Knight" or "Squire" are not checked until you win a multiplayer ranked game in the Steam client.

The “Fairy Finder” and “Bounty Hunter” achievements, awarded for finding the Loot Fairy or Hidden Bandit, must be completed using the Steam client.

Do you have to keep items in your collection to get the collecting achievements?
Yes, in order to get recognition for collecting an item, you must take it into your collection (i.e. take out of a chest or purchase it) and then keep it until you reach the achievement in question.

I've completed a Citadel or AotA adventure, why don't I see progress towards "Cyber Punk" or "Artifact Aristocrat"?
Quests are special ways of playing adventures that are harder than normal. You unlock the ability to play quests when you complete the core campaign.

I completed a co-op adventure with a friend. Why don't I have the "Ally" achievement?
We had a bug in the game until where you would not receive recognition for completing a co-op adventure if you were not the team leader and if you had not unlocked that adventure yet. This bug should have been fixed in build 3.44, so it shouldn't be an issue anymore.

do the collecting achievements also use the items that you are just supposed to sell like the white star diamond?

What about the questor achievement? Is that for doing something simple like Wizard's Workshop, or is a quest defined as something later in the game? I've done some dungeons up to level 7, but haven't received this achievement.

A quest is a special challenge for a adventure that you only unlock after beating the normal mode campaign.

The unique treasures which are given out as final prizes in adventures do not count towards the achievements. The normal treasures which can drop as loot anywhere do count. So, to get the Common Collector schievement, you need to have all of the common base items in your inventory at the same time, including the treasures.

I have found the “Bounty Hunter” achievement playing via web, so is not in my Steam achievements. Have I lost the achievement or playing through Steam will appear again in other adventure?

You haven't lost it. You will get it when you next find Hidden Bandit while playing via Steam.

Okay, here's my question before I start playing it:

Can I earn all achievements without buying any DLC or in-app purchases?

No.

If this is indeed the case, then what DLCs / in-app purchases are required, at absolute minimum?

If memory serves, there's a set of acheivements for each of the expansions so it really just depends on how many you're concerned with. If you absolutely must have all of the acheivements, I believe there are 3 expansions you'll have to purchase. I don't recall off-hand how much they are but I want to say $12, $15, and $20.

Thanks! This is basically the information I wanted (though I would prefer to know the exact expansion packs). In that case I will look into the game and I can then buy the expansions if I like it enough.

It's Free 2 Play so anyone can look at the cash shop at any time. I was hoping someone who knew/could look would see that post and correct me before you came back ;) (I'm working atm so not so much for me just now.)
