With said, with console, everyone is on the same boat, all on console, all with the same controller. With PC, you can have a stronger PC, better mouse better anything if you upgrade. Now you throw in the 360, turn faster with the blink of an eye mouse controlls, in which thats what they are made for in the first place, point and click.
To me I want the controller feel & the same level playing field of console gaming. I want to upgrade my skillls with the learning curve within the game. Gun fights, strafing, flanking ect ect ect NOT upgrading my PC and accessories to help me improve. Thats just the way I see it. Just my opinion.
Im enjoying PC gaming not knocking PC players, there just two different systems. And we adapt to the play styles of each system.
Find yourself some good servers, and the hackers on pc will be banned.
bye.. :)
I happen to agree with you bro! The controllers only thing is where its at. I feel like if i dont go buy all the right accessories/download all the latest apps, i will be at a disadvantage.

Well said.
As to pace, did they not say 7-10 mths? I am satisfied so far with updates. They got big things to work on planned and I doubt those can be done in a week so I am patient and getting my fix playing when I have time.

The difference here is that PC Gamers can Rent and Host their own Dedicated Servers which will show up on the server browser list for everyone to see and join, having a community Dedicated Server will also allow you to permanently BAN anyone caught hacking ,cheating or breaking Clan rules, Dedicated Servers gives your Community Control over their gaming environment, Clans can set up members to admin their servers, they can choose to set servers with whatever maps, modes and rules they want and like minded people will join those servers and add them to their favorites......a gaming community is born!
OK but how will ANY of this transfer over to PS4? And i don't get your point. That is exactly the mentality of a PC gamer that i was referring to in my Title as "Overshadowing" the Console guys. Those EXACT abilities and responsibilities are what makes communities stay small. and no one will be able to cheat until five years down the road after the console version is released.
But i guarantee people are already able to cheat in this PC version due to the "open" nature of the game. Where they basically show us all the ins and outs of the coding.
SOCOM Confrontation was on the PS3 and the worst anyone could do to "hack" was to create a file on a Flashdrive and make your skin change to whatever you wanted. There was no flying, or Auto grenade launchers like the old SOCOMs. So how do you think someone would hack PS4? It's just ignorant to suggest that it will be easily done in comparison to the way people used to hack; Or to the current PC version.
You and the other PC elitists. LOL
Plus, pc treats their top games better. Socom was fighting with Counterstrike for attention in many lan parties i went to, cs is still going, both the old version and the modernized ones- while socom was killed. Their servers STILL active was closed down by sony. And their hackers ruined that game to shreds, at least pc some fans can rent servers and police it long after the developers abandon ship- the option is there.
After 229 hours of gameplay? Even a full price game would be worth it.
I know a guy who created an infinite ammo and rapid fire hack for SOCOM Conf. It's even on youtube. I don't think many cared to hack that game and those who did kept the cheats to themselves.
Hacking a PC game without an anti-cheat is easier, but what happens when you encounter a cheater on a console game? You are pretty much SOL and the hacker does whatever he pleases because there is no admin to ban him.
