Thanks for your interest!
Well, the sale got you at least 1 more sale. I had the game on my wishlist for a while, but reading the reviews about player count kinda made me hold off a while. Hopefully the sale will bring in more players. SOCOM was one of them games that felt damn near perfect to me. Despite the cheaters/glitchers, lol. Memories of SOCOM are already flooding my mind, lol.
1. Do a Verify of the game. Right click on H-Hour in the Library, select Properties, click on Local Files option and then the "Verify integrity of game cache...." button. Let it run.
2. Check any Anti-Virus or Firewall apps such as Symantec/Norton, etc to see if they are blocking the game from connecting. If so, they should have an option to add an exception to prevent the blockage. The file to allow connection is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\H-Hour Worlds Elite\HHourGame\Binaries\Win64\HHourGame-Win64-Shipping.exe
If you are not getting past the EAC screen, it means EAC is not running. You can manually install by running the app at this location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\H-Hour Worlds Elite\EasyAntiCheat\EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe
Also, make sure you always run the game from within Steam as your ownership of the game must always be confirmed.
If none of that works, send an email with as much detail explaining what you see before this crash along with your Logs folder to this email:
