What are the error codes in your Help > About Screen? They are formatted (xx , xxxx)
For subscription users, make sure to Launch via the STEAM client once every month after an update. SONAR grabs your STEAM session key, queries if your payment plan is in good standing, sends that to us, and then we can unlock the app. If this launch doesn't take place or if the STEAMReg applet is blocked, this handshake cannot proceed and you will drop into Demo.
I can't see anything that looks like an error code, tbh.
Just a notice that my membership was ended last month (not by me), my serial and the version number of the software (21.6.00 Gloucester 64bit).
BTW: This problem manifested the first time I opened Sonar Pro after having upgraded to Windows 10. Could that be the problem (because my legitimate (and expensive) Omnisphere VSTi doesn't want to run without reauthorisation, either, although, to make things really interesting, it's not giving me a challenge code to use on Spectrasonics website to re-authorise it with)..?
MIDI = always getting in the way.
It's odd that you're not seeing an error. Let's hook up via IM/PM/E-mail and dig into it a bit more. Friend request incoming.
Another user with MC7 had an issue on Win10, but he rolled back to 8.1 then back to 10 and it was fine. I'm not sure if it's entirely a Win10 thing. It could be though. We've tested installs on Win10, but I'm not sure if QA did an upgrade test across a Windows 'upgrade' install.
I completely shut down my PC and left it for a while. I'm running Windows 10.
When I restarted this morning I waited for the OS to finish loading up then I began by starting Steam as an Administrator, then opening Sonar Pro from within Steam - amazingly, the programme didn't just (finally!) locate my most precious Spectrasonic VSTi's but also started up - correctly - as a paid monthly subcribscription. No more demo mode!
I've yet to see if this all holds up the next time I come back to it, but for now, all appears to be working fine (Omnisphere is behaving perfectly!). So - running Steam as Administrator seems to have been the key both to finding (and re-authorising) all my VSTis and getting rid of the erroneous 'Demo Mode' nonsense - all of which only became a problem after the new update to Windows 10.
Okay, I'm glad you've got it running! I'm going to see if I can replicate this condition in house.
Please edit your previous post and remove your serial number! We don't want someone potentially stealing this.
First, please make sure you have none of these applications running which may impact installation/registration: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9828-SFLZ-9289
Second, please trying running STEAM and SONAR with administrator privileges, info on that can be found here: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=5688-ifhz-2170
Third, please make sure you're launching SONAR through the STEAM client. This has to take place with subscription users so that their current payment info and STEAM session token are sent back to us.
I recommend to keep in contact with offsite support as they may need more info to properly diagnose the issue. They could also potentially remote into your system and assist if needed.
