Sonar Platinum Problem
When i start to record an audio and press SPACE to stop the recording, the part of audio clip simple disappeared

Not the entire clip, just a part

But that problem apeard today, last week i record a song and i had no problem

Go to Edit > Preferences > Audio > Configuration File

Try the [Reset Config to Defaults] button. This will re-write the audio device config file.

You don't have any punch points active in your project do you? That could also cause some of the behavior you're seeing.

If you go to 'C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\Minidumps' are there files there? Those 2 crashes should be logged and I can see the faulting module if you could get me those files.

Re: the audio getting cut off. I've seen this issue before, but it's always been very rare. Here's an instance from back in 09: http://forums.rolandclan.com/viewtopic.php?t=29152&p=178973

Do you know if there were any driver updates for your device in the last week? Does it happen in all projects? I know Windows/Microsoft have been pushing out a lot of updates due to W10 launching. There's a chance their driver repository was changed. Make sure you have the latest drivers and firmware here: http://tascam.com/product/us-2000/

Also, if you want, uncheck 'Hopkinton' from your DLC list and switch to the Gloucester branch and see if you have the same issues. It's possible something got broken in the update, but we test across a bunch of Tascam stuff, since we're under the same company now).

I try to uninstall the 'Hopkinton' DLC and i have the last version of Tascam driver and firmware on my system, but the problem continues

There are no Minidumps folder or dump archives, but i using the problem report of the windows, the two erros are

No, The AC3Filter, is a filter of my KLite mega codec pack for media player classic, it's just to watch any movie on media player classic

Why the sonar load the ac3filter?

I will try to uninstall the ac3filter, i think there is the problem

It could still be getting called by the project.

Hold down [Shift] when you click and Open your project.

You'll be prompted with a Safe Mode and "Load Plugins' window. Say 'Yes' individually to plugins, not the 'Enable All" option. It should list AC3Filter at some point, say 'No' to that and continue through to open the project. Then make sure you re-save the project.

I think we're losing a bit through translation.

Did the projects stop crashing after launching in safe mode?

The audio clip recording issue is unrelated to the crash issue you were also having above. If rolling back from the latest update didn't change the recording behavior and the latest firmware/drivers are installed for the sound device, something else must have changed between when the issue popped up and when it was working correctly last week.

We can also do a hard audio config reset. With SONAR closed, go to C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\SONAR Platinum\' There should be a file called AUD.ini. Delete this file and restart SONAR.

Do you know if any Windows updates ran? If you go to Control Panel > Programs and Features > Installed updates , you can see when they were installed.
