Can't get Lothar Gordon quest to drop

I'm stuck in chapter V. I can't get the option to talk w/ Victoria about the portrait in Robert's office. I've searched the entire office (got everything from the safe and have looked at the portrait) and the only thing I can talk to her about is Ashburry. I've read mulitple walkthroughs and watched the walkthrough on Youtube. Am I missing anything?

I could talk about the portrait with Victoria alright after I was done in Robert's room, so it probably is a problem on your end.

The only tip I can think of is the following. After I was done talking with Victoria, I couldn't go back to Robert's room, the mouse pointer wouldn't highlight. See if you're still able to access Robert's room after talking to Victoria. If you're still able to enter his room, then probably there's still stuff you can do inside.

Thanks. I figured it out. I hadn't found Morris' hat/hair sample Once I eliminated him, I could talk to Victoria.
