Didn't realize the map was a chapter select and I guess I started on chaper IV?

So...I guess I had the first chapters spoiled for me, because I clicked on the central building on what looked like a map screen. Only after I realized I was watching a re-telling of the game I wanted to play, did I turn it off.

I have never encountered a chapter select that looks like a map before, and certainly never a chapter select where chapter one is in the lower left hand corner. Is this just me?

I'd have recognized the roman numerals if they had serifs and appeared in order like, I, II, III, but I wasn't expecting I, IV, VIII. As it is, they're crossing white rings on the map, so they aren't immediately legible and since there's no text labeling the map a chapter select, I didn't think skipping initial chapters was even an option.

Even just, "Select your chapter," would have been enough.

Yes its just you and maybe the other who have a problem with this.
Its the Map/World of Deponia. They cant change the place/order of the Chapter. They are mostly in Order from left to right and then from right to left.
Its pretty obviously that you should click on the thing with I even if you dont recognise it as a chapter select.
