Full screen isn't working.
Hello,
So my problem is that the game won't start in full screen, but only in the corner. I already tried to change the settings in the game and in the folder. Also neither activating "Disable display scaling on high DPI settings" nor change the compitability mode to windows 7 works.

Thanks for your answers.

The Solution
Then just go into the installation folder of Deponia ( C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\[-your Deponia Version here-], im using The Complete Edition in the following ) and right click on the deponia.exe ( name depends on your version ).
Then click on the properties.
Then switch into the compatibility tab and check the option "Disable scaling display for high resolutions".

Hello everybody.

Obviamente isto é para usuários Linux

Por exemplo eu jogo Deponia The Complete Journey no Linux Mint 18.3.

# FULLSCREEN = {yes|no}
# yes - starts the game in fullscreen
# no - starts the game in a window
FULLSCREEN = yes <---------------------------------------------------------------
#
# RESOLUTION = {Auto|Desktop|Game}
# Auto - wide-screen support is activated if a wide-screen display is detected
# Desktop - current desktop resolution is used when game is started in full screen mode
# Game - game is initialized with the resolution specified in the game
RESOLUTION = 1440x900 <----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

No meu caso o FULLSCREEN ja esta yes
RESOLUTION tive que mudar de 1920x980 para minha resoluçao suportada.

E foi só alegria. Abraço galera...

Obviously this case is for linux users

For example I play Deponia The Complete Journey on Linux Mint 18.3.
I had setup problems when starting when installing.
My monitor a Samsung Sync Master 931BW. opens at maximum in 1440x900 and the game started
in a higher resolution.

By following a few tutorials that informed to go in /home/"your_name"/.local/share/Daedalic Entertainment GmbH / Deponia The Complete Journey / folder.
In this folder you have the folder / savegames and the file "config.ini".
| \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ --> config.ini<---- edit this file and change the parameters indicated by the arrow
# FULLSCREEN = {yes | no}
# yes - starts the game in fullscreen
# no - starts the game in a window
FULLSCREEN = yes <---------------------------------------------- -----------------
#
# RESOLUTION = {Auto | Desktop | Game}
# Auto-wide-screen support is activated if wide-screen display is detected
# Desktop - current desktop resolution is used when game is started in full screen mode
# Game - game is initialized with the resolution specified in the game
RESOLUTION = 1440x900 <---------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------

In my case FULLSCREEN is already yes
RESOLUTION I had to change from 1920x980 to my supported resolution.

And it was only joy. Good Look

Hi. I experience the same. Just hit ALT+ENTER and it goes to window mode, ALT+ENTER again and it goes fullscreen.
Tomator666 Jan 27, 2019 @ 2:13am
You can also set compatibility mode to Windows XP service pack 3 and enjoy fullscreen.

Hi, I had the same issue too, thanks Vii, that double alt+enter helped

Worked for me. And there is 2 config.ini files. Change the one in your $HOME directory, not the one in the installation directory

These are better solutions than I used. The "alt+space" + "m" shortcut chain lets one move the window around (on Windows 10). So, with that, I just drag and dropped the window (in windowed mode) until it filled up the screen near perfectly. Then, Windows made it full-screen. Sadly, you have to do it every time, so it's see a better solution here.
