How to skip Cutscenes? Escape doesn't do it.

The help menu says to press escape to skip cutscenes, like on the CD version. However this doesn't work and neither does spacebar or anything too obvious. Did anyone figure out how to do it? The game goes very slow without the handy escape function.

I just tried the game and Esc worked for me. You can also click both mouse buttons to do the dame thing, and the "." key lets you skip just one line of dialogue instead of the whole scene

Oh yeah, funnily enough my escape key was just broken. Thanks, you helped me figure that out haha.
