I keep getting "Director Player Error"

Followed by Object Expected Spript Error or List Expected For Handler #FindPOS Script Error

They keep popping up again and again making it nearly impossible to load and once I have hit continue about 30 times it finally loads but anything I try to click on gives me the errors too and won't do anything. Clicking anything other than continue shuts down the game

I'm not sure if you are telling me you found a solution and aren't sharing or asking. Punctuation would help here. If you are asking the only workaround I found was playing it on a different computer, but I have no idea why that one worked and this one didn't. Also even though it loaded and played it didn't load right most of the time, crashed a lot and generally made the game thoroughly unpleasant to try to play through.

The game I posted about worked when i was using vga on xp , but when i changed to a hdmi card to get sound on my tv it borked it somehow.I bought another HOG game at the same time , this too did the same errors after the replacement hdmi card , but after some updates to java , shockwave etc , this now works , although has in game bugs like missing items.

My hdmi card doesnt do 1024 resolution , which is where I had it working before if that helps.

I too had it working on different computers that I have Steam on , but it isnt a steam problem , its a developer problem , there is many posts along the same lines with these errors still to be addressed by the devs.

IMO steam should vet the game devs own forums before considering selling them.It does reflect on them to other customers whom may think its a valve/steam game.
