Like the title says, the game won't start. Anyone experienced the same problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi @zzymyn, I got same problem but I am running Duet in macOS 10.12.3 .

The first time run is good. Then I quit it and start it again after a while. It can't start. It's only showing a black screen and play background music. btw, I can see the mouse cursor on the black screen.

I tried to uninstall and install it again but it doesn't work.

Could you help?

Can try running in windowed mode: right-click Duet in Steam and select Properties. Click "Set Launch Options". Input the following text:

-fullscreen 0 -windowborder 1 -width 800 -height 600

I've encountered this problem as well. Afte prompting to either "play duet" or "tablet interface", the game immediately crashes.

Running Windows 10 64-bit with an RX 480.

Thank you SO MUCH! This was the fix I needed. Best dev 2017

I have same issue only that the file you mentioned isn't anywhere to be found. I have reinstalled the game about 5 times. No luck there . after the year around 2016-2017 i think that it stopped working. :/ Any ideas ?

I think it's in a different folder now. Try looking in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\OpenAL\2.0.7.0

Maybe update the game instead of these fixes. I can't launch it as well

Having the same problem here, tried uninstalling it and restarting my PC, but to no avail.

I've released a beta version of Duet that should hopefully fix this.

Accessing the Beta
  1. Navigate to Duet in your Steam library.
  2. Right-click or Control-click Duet and select Properties.
  3. Navigate to the BETAS tab.
  4. Select beta - Public Beta from the drop down.
  5. Install Duet.

Let me know if this helps the issue!
