1) I Googled "dgvoodoo2"
2) I selected the top result, which was: "dgVoodoo2" which took me to here: http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2.html
3) A page named "dgVoodoo 2" was displayed
4) Underneath where it says "Latest Stable Version" I clicked on: "dgVoodoo v2.6"
5) A window opened to save it to my computer, so I clicked on "save" at the bottom of the window and it saved a file named "dgVoodoo2_6.zip"
6)I clicked on the file I just saved (dgVoodoo2_6.zip) and another window opened that one can work with "zip" files (It will say "add" "extract" "test" "copy" etc near the top of the window and the files will be listed below that....look for files named "MS" "DOC" "3Dfx" "QuickGuide.html" "dgVoodooCpl.exe" and "dgVoodoo.conf" ...if you see all these you are doing well...Don't close this window yet.
7)To get to PEA FOG local files: R click on the Panzer Elite Action Fields of Glory in your Steam Library and select "Properties"
Select "Local Files" and then "Browse Local Files" and a window will open with all of PEAFOG's files visible
Unzip the files (from the open "zip" window) into your local Panzer Elite Action Fields Of Glory folder, making sure the .dll files are outside the "Doc" and "MS" folders that were unzipped(you may have to drag and drop the .dll files after you unzip them )
8) Save and Close everything and start the game. If you did everything right, then you should see a "dgVoodoo2" watermark at the bottom of the screen as you are playing the game and the tracks will be working.
OR, follow these steps by Dot Matrix:
"Download dgVoodoo 2 here[dege.freeweb.hu].
Unzip the files into the folder were is the executable of the game and unzip the d3d dll's into this folder as well. Skip the 3dfx files as this game is DirectX based.
Anyway if you're stuck read the instructions."
Found only one problem, tanks in FOG love to lean forward while driving what looks very weird. When it started in russian campaign, problem remained until the end of allied campaign.
But i think it was a bug in game physics not graphics. DOW luckily didn't have that problem.

maybe. Just downloaded it from here. Not sure if this version has all the stuff you need.

dgVoodoo is probably the only hope (what little there is) anyone is going to have for getting these two games (PEA, DoW) running on post-7 operating systems.
If you can locate version 1.43.85 of PEA for sale on physical media, it will install and run on Windows 10/11, and you can use dgVoodoo to fix the tank treads. I've never gotten DoW working this way. But I have an old offline build still running 7 that runs both of them fine. Since Steam is killing support for 7 next year, that build will only run locally installed games from media.
Or you could try to petition the GoG folks to adapt it, if there was enough interest to make it worth their while.
Not sure what else.
P.S. I continue to work non-profit on it for the audience of fans of this game. You're all so smart here that it's funny to read...
Soon there will be news from me that the publisher will obviously not like...
GoG - in flight. No idiot (except me) would take up such an idea. In addition, Nordic will not give the rights to anyone.
