Moddable?

Is the game mod-able? Not mods as in modifications for cars. I mean mods, stuff like you see in Skyrim.

I used to play the heck out of this game on PS2. I'm on the verge of buying the game but the graphics are holding me back a bit. I did some research and it doesn't seem like there are any mods for the game. I have no experience moding at all. But I swear if the game is mod-able I'll start working on getting a texture pack for the game. Might take forever but dam it will it be worth it.

From the looks of it. It is not. It was on sale around the time I made this post. I wanted to get it. But, I red that it doesn't scale to 1080P which is a shame. I was getting ready to learn how to mod and I would get a HD mod pack for the game. But, yeah. Sadly is not modable (until proven wrong). Sucks.

I like the game. With some mods the game could shine again. Throw in some texture mods and maybe a way to add some more map to the game or races. It'd be awesome.

Why can't you add texture mods?
