anyway some cars inexplicably don't get higher top speed even with upgrades (even less explainable is how these the top speed increases without changing the diff or gearbox ratios...)
i always start the career with a black eclipse gs-t if i can, because UG1 memories, though some guides recommend the base model celica, and an even better thing to do is to finish the philadelphia iron man challenge before or after you start the career, to get a fresh ae86 in your garage and to be able to buy it from the dealership as well (if you hate the auto transmission and wanna go manual)
is the AE86 any good in the corners?
And as for the rest: the reason is that when your speed is low you REALLY notice it. Even if you cant go to the GTR's max speed of 180 or 190mph in many places you really wish you could when you go into some places. Specially ironic considering these are cars that maxed out get about 800 to 1000 hp, which IRL should be more than enough to get them closer to a 400 kmh mark.
thing is though. some of the cars handle like arse. i dont mean to berate the cars, i do love the 4wd and turbo. a very enticing combination for a fact. but if it doesnt have the handling to back it up. EVEN WHEN tuned to all hell, then there's no point.
It was one of the later ones. I forgot the name but I believe its VFS... I'm not sure
