Chinese New Year not working - Game not rewarding anything at all

I am getting a 3 minute Timer telling me "Checking for drops in..." then on about 2 to 0 seconds it "checks" and then resets the timer to 3 minutes and starts over.
It does not give anything at the moment

did you really think you would a get a banana every 3 minutes? They won't give you money that easily. It is only guaranted every 3 hours.

That's not what it was about. You're late for the issue... It was fixed and it has been for a week, so it doesn't matter anymore. This thread is old now.

IT went broke again. I am again not receiving my drops. I had the game today running for 6 hours and only got the initial drop today. None after that. The timer stuck to 0:00 and did nothing, only noticed now. restarted the app, now its the old 3 minute timer repeating itself over and over

I'm receiving mine just fine. Just received one now and it wasn't the first I received today. Try to check the integrity of your files.

they are fine.
Currently I need to start the game to get a drop. anything outside the scope of around a minute after start will not manage to make a working api call.
