as someone with very limited budget (and not really good PC), i want to earn a lil bit from steam in order to buy some games.
is there any game worth grinding with a good amount of drops? where i don't have to spend a lot of money or i doesn't had to get a beefy PC in order to play it?
Just get a job, this game is just a meme, the electricty cost itself makes this not worth it.
sorry for the necro, but this.
your best bet at playing to make money is in skin trading.
get into CS2 and do idle drop servers so you can rack up drops. then, buy some keys (remember the addage, you need to spend money to make money). you don't need to go crazy, just buy a few keys (but of course, the more keys you can buy since a bigger key investment = greater opportunity for higher quality drops which will make trading a lot easier to start since you'll have a bigger value pool to work with [ie. starting with 10-30$ skins for trading up as opposed to starting with only 10 cent - 1$ skins]).
after you've racked up some crates and grabbed the corresponding keys, link your account to csfloat {put that in url and add . com after it} (it's legit, i used it to sell my inventory and was more than impressed, they only charge a 2% sellers fee and i got the money in my bank acct within 30 mins [if u can't wait 30 mins u can pay a small nominal fee of like 2 or 3 additional % to have the money credited to your account instantly]) and also download their phone app from the apple/play store. you'll need the app [make sure you enable push notifications] to trade efficiently since there's an expiration date on sales/trades when someone tries to buy an item from you.
i only had a few items in my inventory from trading up that I did a few years ago when cs2 was csgo, and I was able to sell everything in my inventory for around 6 or 700$ (i initially invested around 95$) so I was more than happy with the results. during trading, I ran into sellers with insane skin inventories (talking thousands of skins, the guy who bought my knife had like 20k+ skins) and they just manage their store stall on csfloat all day long with buy / sell scripts that is constantly moving money in and out of their bank accounts. the guy who bought my knife has a 6 figure bank account from skins alone. that's extremely rare of course, but the whole point is that it's more than possible to actually create a living wage for yourself just skin trading in this game if you're organized, patient, and smart.
buying and selling, especially with skins, is a snowball effect. it's very difficult and slow when you're starting out (unless of course you land yourself some extremely valuable/prized skins that would jumpstart your journey), but if you're persistent and smart with the use of your money (ie. never allowing yourself to manuever at a net loss when making a trade) you can definitely make something happen for yourself. just don't expect overnight magic.
