I can also see it happening for the actualy rare limited edition ones, but again, its their own ecosystem.
People who buy the 3 cents bananas dont know they would have to actually sell them again for 7 or 8 cents to even turn a profit on it, which wont happen because the supply of those bananas keeps on growing.
Unless you get one of the 5 (or however many) of the most rare one and sell that.
If you get 100 bananas worth 3 cents each and you sell them you might make 1 cent each so yeah, 1 dollar/euro =p
