how to increase gold gain

im falling 20 to 30 gold short run after run. am i missing something?

You can get gold from those chests that pop up and also from big mobs and bosses.

yah i was wondering if there's a certain character to use or a wpn ugrade i haven't seen yet. i can't quite hit that 700 mark

I'm stuck on one of the get 350 armor, the skill wont pop up even rerolling i rarely get one.

build the bastion towers. each bastion tower gives armour. use the commander guy that gives a bonus to structures.....Diomedes

I also have problems with the mission to get 700 gold. and the one to get 1800 health

OK now i'm having trouble with the 700 gold, most i got to was 670 before i died.

I think the chests that pop up should carry more gold, i noticed during the one i paid attention to i only got 14 gold from it.

for the health, i used diomedes also. with max health meta and tower efficiency, you can build the healing tower which gives health, and spend your gold rerolling for health upgrades. you should be able to hit it. I just got the gold using diomedes again, i built 1 fire tower and stayed around it until it died. i made one stop to forge upgrade my wpns, then ran around the map getting chests and rifts, making sure to kill every spider and ogre monster i saw. i hit 735. took me forever to get that one

To get skill upgrades fast i usually choose an area with 3 or 4 build sites close together, put towers on them and keep running around them. It just goes ding, ding, ding so fast.

I finally managed it, i was up to 670 and almost ran out of time when it did that extra 2 mins to close the 3 seals. I closed them then used the time to kill stuff and made it to 700 and got to the portal with about 3 secs left.

Green spiders and bosses drop the most gold, so when you're skilled enough to survive go after them.

I not sure if luck has any effect on the drop rates but its something i increased when i got mine while also focusing one exploding weapon. Kill ratio per shot is much more important than anything though, so make sure you killing so many that the game has to spawn more which means more gold gains.
