Also, I totally want an Endless Mode in this game as well, personally.
If there was going to be an endless mode implement then they might have to do something that kept the player from just using their 2 perfect plants to pump-out whatever they needed.
No there wouldn't. It's up to each individual player if they want to do something like that, I doubt anybody will force you.
Besides, there's not enough storage to save 2 perfect plants of every species and only a limited amount of breeding uses per day limiting how many orders you can fill.
It has been quite a few years since I have played this game but, I don't recall ever having any problems creating whatever plants I wanted well before the game was done even on my first play-through.
Subsequent playthroughs was just about getting to that state even sooner.
