Can't launch game at all with new launcher
The new launcher starts and I click the green button saying play, I accept admin and it just restarts the launcher. Any solutions?

Please, try launching the game directly from its folder by starting "ufo.exe".

Thanks for responding so quickly. That sadly doesn't fix it. When I click the UFO.exe file directly in the Steamapps/common/ufo aftermath folder it opens up the fulqrum launcher, which doesn't allow me to play the game because it just restarts the launcher everytime I try to launch the game. I also tried the other launcher with the configurations but it doesn't work either.

I'd also say that I am using windows 10 but I did try to play the game with windows 10 about 2 years ago or so and it worked perfectly.

Understood, thank you for the details.

The ufo.exe file should not able to launch the launcher at all, so it seems the problem is somewhere else. Besides reinstalling the game (or verifying the files through Steam), I also recommend temporary moving the "launcher-x64.exe" (or "launcher-ia32.exe" in case you have 32bit version of your system) out of the folder.

If I move it to launcher-x65.exe to desktop and try to launch the game it says this:

An error occurred while launching this game : Missing game executable - C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Ufo Aftermath/Launcher- x64.exe

Got it. So, please, put the files back into the folder as they were and open launcher.ini. There, you will find "run=?". Can you tell me if it says "run=ufo.exe" or does it say anything else?

It says

# Width and Height of the window.
width=1400
height=900

# Actual exe
run=ufo.exe
id=*6letterid*
store=steam
game=UFO: Aftermath
url=https://launcher.fulqrumpublishing.com/
#url=https://www.fulqrumpublishing.com/
wait=-1

I replaced the id though with *6letterid* just incase since I dunno if that will do anything.

If I show it that is

I tried deleting the url and a sentence up into everything was gone except run=ufo.exe and sadly it didn't work.

Okay, can you, please, try deleting the whole "id=*6letterid*" line and launch the game afterwards?

And if that doesn't work, also try deleting the "launcher-x64.exe" file, rename the "ufo.exe" file to "launcher-x64.exe" and then launch it, see if that works.
