UFO: Aftermatch console doesn't open

So i bought the game and i wanted to open the console, i tried all possibilites and it still does not open. Help me if you can.

I also have this problem but I solved it. I guess you see a dark screen when you start right? so hit once or twice ESC button on the keyboard. then you will see the game menu. It seems that the intro video is not able to handle with Win 8.1. I also have to mention that I use a 4K monitor and it is really small :-) the game menu.

It's not about the intro video. it's about the CHEAT CONSOLE.

Go to config file in the game folder, open with notepad, add the line KEY "cheats" BOOL TRUE to the file, save. In game, its shift + ~. Have fun.
