What is more, if you had a nice role-play with someone, you can always add them on Steam and play with them later, getting yourself game buddies :)
I have had a lot of fun games in this game in lobbies when everyone's really diving into the office rp aspect of it and having wacky scenarios between co-workers but also quite a few that were somewhat eh with people either try-harding and the manager immediately shooting their vote without any prior discussion or people repeatedly screaming the N-word and writing it alongside other racial / offensive stuff and plastering them all over the place.
This here's the right answer, just get into a role and see what happens. When you do it usually people will play along.
This game would be so much more enjoyable if half the playerbase weren't just constantly screaming racial slurs. I wanna be able to communicate in a game entirely about communication and it's a bit hard to do so when right as soon as the game starts there's a guy or few just screaming the N-word and unless the host is smart enough to kick them, the game's kinda screwed, and even when you don't have people screaming it, you get people flooding the printer with the n-word or writing the n-word on sticky notes and placing them everywhere.
