Additional roles / increased depth?
I gotta say this game does have potential, it's a good application of the good ole mafia/werewolf concept, but it lacks a bit of depth which I'm sure things could be solved with updates.

So rather than just keeping a straight specialist v slacker. add a few subroles to add some extra spice like...

Fire marshal - Move faster whilst holding a fire extinguisher, slower without.
IT Guy - Able to deal with viruses and the server (Maybe make it so regular people are really slow to interact with the server)
coffee boy - Able to batch make coffee for the office.
HR Clerk - Can rehire one member of staff during the round.

Could be roles people start with or assigned by the manager.

But yeah, I feel like there could be more to this.

I like the IT concept. HR would be OP considering only one person is fired a round. You'd never lose player count. But I'd also like it if there was an option to rehire everyone by default with a new random role.

Oh by round I meant the entire game. Not after every meeting. I was considering a round as an entire game.

But yeah, that would make sense if it was re randomised but that does have the issue of increasing the board count by 1 and thusly telling you they are a slacker/specialist.

If there are additional effects or roles introduced, like in werewolf and it's many variants, then it could be quite a fun a thing.

IT guy could be a role given by the manager.
IT would be able to clean viruses but also infect computers from his desk if he's a traitor

I think a good way of implementing extra depth would be to give these as secondary roles, so a player can be slacker/specialist + IT/HR/CoffeeBoy/FireMarshal

Backstabber role would be cool:

At the beginning of the game you will be given a target.

- If your target is fired from the office - you win.
- Your target always starts the game as a SPECIALIST.
- The target cannot be the MANAGER.
- Your target must be fired from the office while you are still working (still playing).
- If you are fired after your target is terminated, you still win.

Now that is a classic mafia role for sure.
