I have been personally following the development for NMRIH2 and was also a closed tester for the game when it was originally developed for UE4 before TB got their slimy hands all over. I will try to answer all questions as honestly as I can before this thread gets deleted or if I get banned.

AMA as well. I am following the game since the first hour of first teaser 8 years ago. Although I did not participate in playtest since I was busy with other stuff at that time, but I do know how it looked like and all the mechanics.

Personally I do not, but you can find them on official NMR2 YouTube, also on unofficial channels and even on official NMR2 Discord server. You just gotta dig through.

yeah i do but no one is allowed to share them. Some other tester uploaded them to yt and got taken down by TB. Now the vid is just unlisted. There are vods of the dev streams that are available thought.

the ue4 version had a very intense suicide mechanic where a really eerie ambience will hum, this new version is nothing but washed slop imo. nothing but a quick cash grab. i am so dissapointed.

do you think the original NMRIH2 exists out there somewhere or is this lost to time. i have 2 hours of footage of it so theres that but it'd be nice to play it or atleast know it still exists out there somewhere. the fact that we had 3 whole new maps with lots of effort put in them and they are gone just breaks my heart.

exists maybe to the devs, I know that a tester backed up the files and was able to run it but he lost the launcher application, the anti virus ate it up apparently. So the files are there, he just cant run it anymore after the testers got the boot.

I guess TB dump old build because It's kinda difficult to monetize
In this build I can see that they can sold you more inventory slot , responder slot , insurance or even full geard max lv responder.

I hate the entire responder aspect in general. I preferred being a nameless generic survivor, this is now a disgusting hunt showdown clone slop. I hate it. I hate it so much.

Who knows what Torn Banner might do but we’ll gotta see on that, eh? Now I know one thing is that the original build has some form of future customization monetization.
Cosmetics basically as expected.

I think I might be wrong but there was a pre-order bonus or something down the line that was gonna be sold which are the original survivor outfits you can equip on your characters. Patrick Bateman - Lebowski - Badass, etc.
