Juggernaut red eye zombies were a mistake
It's a bad example of artificial difficulty that ruins the pace and horror becomes annoyance.

agreed. hated them. not in a fun way either. not like tanks or smokers or hunters, no. these just felt out of place and stupid

Seriously, these guys can typically get 1-2 shot in the head with a gun? but me and 2 other guys had to hit a single red eye at least a dozen times just to kill it.

not to mention, the only way to indicate if youre dealing with a red eye is to, well, look at its eyes. if you have a whole horde coming, you dont exactly have time to evaluate how many of these walking brick walls are coming at you.

On like normal or second difficulty I ran into one I had shot at least four times with the shotgun. Missing head and arms, still charging at me lmao.

Same. I had the double barrel. Over and under shotgun. I put like six shells into the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing. It had no more limbs but it was still coming at me. Ridiculous

Shot one in the face closer than point blank and it took 4 shots with a shotgun while being bashed in the head by a teammate lol.

This is the way it should be. Classic shamblers, crawlers, any tougher zombies should be like firemen, soldiers and police officers. Shooting a zombie in the head with shotgun should always kill it, same with most guns, and bashing them in the head with a heavy attack or 2 should be enough to kill them unless they have a helmet or something.

The fact that they die from 2 headshots from an M9A3 but a shotgun can't 1-tap headshot them is absolutely wild to me. Buff my poor shotties.

the melee is bad all around....

add locational damage. weakspots are fun. look at helldivers 2 for how bodies should respond to being shot or hit.

They just need to rebalance the core gameplay. It's impossible when you are new and too easy when you memorize the map. You are given way too much ammo, and there's not nearly enough RNG in the missions mechanics.

I think some of them are bugged out because one instance I was just dumping rounds and melee strikes into one, but it was not dying.

Some of the difficulty modifiers include reduced head-hit damage. As that difficulty goes up, killing them is going to get less and less practical until you are either blowing them up or just avoiding them entirely.

+1 Totally agree.

I want the red eyes and runners removed, and increase the ammount of normal slow zombies.
