Hope thats the first of many because the game is fun and a solid foundation to build up on.
But i agree we are gonna need more then 1 or 2 maps, otherwise the playerbase 'll move on to another game (or back to NMRiH).
Theres a lot under consideration. But this would not be the first title that flopped due to a disastrous release that then gets cancelled most of its future concepts.
Need at least like a dozen of maps eventually.
This open world idea with just one map was stuppid, its gonna get boring and repetitive very quick. This is not State of Decay for example...
Player base appears to be holding, and the newer reviews are trending positive. I wouldn't expect the devs to abandon it, but rather the opposite, and it's likely most of the bugs will be fixed over the coming weeks and new content will start coming in too.. but we'll see.
I agree the replayability is low right now, but with more character progression, different modes, new content in this map, and new extraction options likely coming, that should hopefully keep this map fresh while the next ones are finishing cooking.
