Most people isn't on it because when you die you get a infinite loading screen me and some friends was going to play it but we cant due to this issue we cant click anything latest update kinda broke it :( fun otherwise but yea i agree overall i think make it free to play for awhile may help build up the player base

If they make it f2p I hope for us people that bought it get some compensation in game. In my opinion I think the games decent just needs work.

This happened to me before the update and was very quickly resolved for me by using the Report and Feedback button in game (your escape menu should work)

Their response told me to...
Delete the NMRiH2 Folder: Navigate to C:\Users\%your username%\AppData\Local, and delete the NMRiH2 folder. This can help resolve settings or loading issues by forcing the game to rebuild certain configurations.


This worked right away, reset my settings, but even gave me my character that died back.

How about instead of being brain dead we wait and see how many are playing at launch and stop acting like it's finished? A lot of people, myself included play it for a bit and then don't touch it for a while until a major update or it launches 1.0. But I don't know why i'm still explaining early access in 2024

just incase ne1 hasnt seen in other posts, i found a fix that seems to work? credit reddit FanAHUN;



Workaround from the Discord which apparently helped some of us:

Turn off cloud saves for NMRiH2 in Steam before doing next steps

Head to C:\Users%your username%\AppData\Local and delete the NMRiH2 folder. This deletes the game's settings config and acts as a factory reset

Launch the game.

Hints from players:

IT WILL NOT RESET YOUR CHARACTER LEVEL/ACCOUNT LEVEL

If you get this bug, while your character is still alive. It will not delete your character. So it's a win win fix.

Even when that is fixed. It's not going to shoot up very much. That's unfortunately the sad reality we're all in now because of the sloppy sloppy launch.

What launch are you talking about? Because this game hasn't launched yet. This is an ALPHA that we are all paying to play. It's been great. First time EA'er? Yeah we can tell.

They literally delayed this game for 2 years. If you say wait until full release that's not an excuse. The game should have been in early access in 2022 but they postponed it for 2 years. How long do you have to wait? They should have kept quite until the game is finished then release it to the public. I'm pretty sure most of the fan base are disappointed and move on to the next game. Look at the numbers on steam charts it's saddening.
