No More Room in Hell 2

Difficulty Levels
Has anyone else noticed that the difficulty levels don't mean anything? The hardest runs i've ever had and continue to have are level 2. I just had a run with loads of zombies everywhere and on top of that everyone died. By the time I was at the control center I had something like 20+ runners chasing me everywhere. I just don't get this game...

lol yup, i can be level 50 and see 0 zombies and sometimes start fresh and get 20-30 runners chasing me
As I understood they are "adjusting" the modes but had also some horrible fights on Level 1 but it also depend on the team. Currently I have the feeling lot of new gamers in and out and some old dogs :)
You gotta understand the entire story behind difficulty in this game.
When the game first launched, difficulty was defined in enemy healthpoints.
This however made red-eyes and runner an absolute chore to defeat. Especialy with melee.

So they changed it in the "Reinforcement" update to instead be defined by increased numbers of red-eyes and runners.
This however did not only increase tedium instead of lowering it, but made nightmare difficulty absolutely impossible to beat.

Now from what i have felt playing, they have disabled difficulty 5 and nightmare completely.
Weither that means for good or until they figure out a third attempt at difficulty i cannot say.
Due to the backlash they propably also tuned down the difficulty at dif 3 and 4.
At least thats what it feels like rn.

But to be honest im not to broken up about it. When i play on difficulty 4 it is not uncommon for me to see everybody else slowly dieing away, until i link up with the last 2 or 3 remaining responders at the Powerplant.

Im totaly fine with the game being a bit more on the easier side when that means i don´t have to do the Powerplantmission alone.
I'm fine with the Difficulties as-is, just wish I could queue them solo.

I find the game's descriptions accurate.

yeah the difficulty is messed up. how you going to throw a fresh survivor into a lvl 3 difficulty. i got overrun at my 1st location and died to 4 runners..
At the moment I really think they need to disable all the different difficulties and just make one difficulty level because the player numbers are not high at all and having 5 different levels to split the already tiny player base is just making things worse.
