I was able to cut down hordes with the knife. Imo it's a bit busted imo.
its even more busted if there is a crowd there is no downside to cutting off 5 zombie legs in a row. Trust me just get a machete or Hatchet and you win.
Cut off legs -> 2-3 same direction hits (heavy attack (NOT CHARGED ATTACK)) and you can wipe out hordes very quickly.
It also makes it broken in the sense crawlers cannot bite you it seems like in the first game. Maybe if they add this we can talk but as far as i've been able to tell crawlers just hit.
I think the fire axe is fine to chop multiple legs off but a knife should not be able to lol
In my experience the knife and hatchet can still require more than one swing sometimes, and it they seem to have a lower chance to remove any legs if it hits more than one target. It's fine IMO.
It is effective, but more for running away and not for doing objectives.
Yep, most people have yet to see Nightmare.
The ease of leg sweeping should not be removed, but outright killing zeds with headshots should be the better alternative.
Yea this is what i'm requesting. I still feel silly cutting off legs with a kitchen knife though
You dont have the No More Room in Hell 1's ability to circlestrafe zombies with walking anymore so as to group the newly $sh;tspawned zombies so as to pass-by since you get lunged at RE:Outbreak style the instant you're in the aggro zone.
Hitting the Head and Hitting the Legs have two different uses (speedrunning and stalling, appropriately) and being able to rely on something in a game that has "LoS block only" spawn rule is a Must, otherwise you'd be swarmed with no tools other than "the only winning way is a speedrun until they spawn" or area waltz-in-waltz-out to despawn enemies.
