Stuck in splashscreen - game doesn't start
Sadly, my game doesn't start. I get the initial loading splash, then goes to a smaller splash screen, then it gets stuck. Tried multiple times, even restarted.

Windows 10 on GTX 3080TI and 32GB RAM

It doesn't crash or gives back any error message. It just stays on that loading splash screen before going into the game. When you hover over your mouse, it shows a loading circle.
Antivirus is disabled and files verified. It even downloaded something from the Steamworks, but still no luck.

/edit. And interesting thing to notice. Task Manager says the process is halted. Not sure what this means or what keeps it on halt.

My friend had the exact same problem and he fixed it by fully disabling his antivirus (norton) + firewall and he verified his files twice after that and the game just suddenly worked.

hm, I also got Norton and did the exact same thing Auto Protection and Firewall is off. Verified the files 8 times now and still no luck. Something still is keeping at hold according to the task manager.
Disable Antivirus, verify files, open local files, right-click the game exe to manually start as admin. This doesn't fix it for me, but at least now I get an error message:
Code: 30005 (CreateFile failed with 32.)

guys its not only the firewall. you need to disable your anti virus. mine was avast.sorry for my bad inglish
I give up. Even uninstalling Norton didn't help. After uninstalling Norton I even deactivated Windows Defender, and yet it doesn't start. Wishlisting removed.
