No More Room in Hell 2

No More Room in Hell 2

can the gene therapy fail?
So i was playing some nightmare with a friend, I'd gotten infected but had a few packs of pills. Got into a loot room and found a gene therapy item, I'd only just used pills so i'd have plenty of time to sort out loot and such. After using the gene therapy, I still had the item in my hand, and after a few seconds my infection triggered and I instantly died, even though I should have had several minutes at least due to my recent pill usage.
Not sure if its a bug or feature? its hard to tell with this game some times, as much as I enjoy it that really sucked.

I'm also unsure about how gene therapy actually works. The same thing happened to me - admittedly I was closer to infection and dodging zombies and extracting but I used the kit and just... died.

It didn't help that the onscreen gene therapy kit prompt was bugged and looked like hieroglyphics for some reason, but just from that one instance I can't say how the kit functions is all that clear to me since I injected myself and then just died.

You have to use it twice. The first time you inject it, it's drawing blood to make a cure for you. Once the green bar fill completely on the needle gun, you press m1 again to actually cure you. Seems new players do have trouble knowing this lol.
weird that it immediately made my infection instantly trigger, as I'd very, very recently taken pills before hand, guess that in particular was a bug.
but nice to know how it works for when it doesn't bug out
Granted, I don't think the game does a good job of explaining how it works, unless there was something that I missed. I thought it would work like it did in the first game, until I saw a video recently showing how it actually works.
WOW
The description in game literally states it only needs to be used once. but your telling me we need to use it twice for it to take effect? Crazy. Whoever wrote that description deserves a stub toe.

When I used the gene therapy first time I noticed the meter bar. Not sure how many people missed that lmao. Still yeah needs to be more descriptive on how it works. Also I am curious if there's a blindness effect to it.
You need to use it, the first time it will take a sample of you and you need to wait for the little tool / machine to fill up his bar, when is green you can use it otherwise the gene therapy is botched and will kill you.

Next time you take the therapy and use it once note on his bar starts filling, once is green you can cure yourself but not before
You have to use it TWICE.
- Inject
- Wait 1 minute
- Inject again
- Profit

Injecting it for the first time won't "reset" infection timer, so you have to take pills if you are close to turning.

TIP: If somebody injected youself once with it and died or throw it on the ground, you can use it on yourself like nothing happend.

They meant u dont need 2 gene injection to be immune, but gene therapy itself have a 30 sec timer to make you immune after it extracted blood sample.

You have to use it twice. It says it on the model of the gene theraphy -exactly- how to use it.

There is even a timer on the model, inbetween usages.

this needs to be cleared up in the may update.. i thought it could be shared with the 2 injections
Mine wouldn't work 3-6 times in a row, but I waited for the bar to fill up and it worked immediately for me.
