Is the game worth the purchase now?

It's a decent game. I played a lot of the first one and think it's a big graphical upgrade along with some neat gameplay changes.

Server just crashed on me in the middle of me experiencing a bug that made it so I couldn't close my esc menu but could still walk and shoot. Just lost my character that went through five or six games to it because I couldn't reconnect to the server. The claim that this game is in a 1.0 state is an extreme lie. It's still running like it's in alpha.

the game has alot of ppl playing right now, occasionally some lag but not game breaking

After about 10 matches I feel like I've seen everything the game currently has to offer. Sure there are levels to these things, but the entire game play loop is kind of paper thin. I'm a sucker for this genre so I have no regrets on my purchase but realistically I feel like $20 is unfortunately a fair price point for the current material the game offers.
