Will the game have anti cheat or offline mode?
I'm a VR content creator and as far as I'm aware, this game is made using Unreal Engine. I'd like to show some gameplay of this game on my channel using a mod called UEVR that will make the game playable in Virtual Reality but I'm concerned that if the game has anti cheat, it will flag the mod as me attempting to cheat which is not the case. However if there is an offline mode or no anti cheat, then I'd have zero concerns.

Here is an example video of Nightingale using UEVR in offline mode

I mean this is a primarily coop focused game so I think its highly unlikely there will be an offline mode. Try asking on their discord I think the devs are actually there.

Yeah i realise its co-op, doesn't mean there won't be single-player content...

Plenty of older games work perfectly fine thanks to self-hosted dedicated servers. You know, the "relic of the past" that many publishers forgot about today, the reason why NMRiH1 (and many other old Source games) is still playable today without being at mercy of the publisher in fear of them pulling the plug one day. You could just download Source Dedicated Server for NMRiH1 from Steam's "Tools" section and set one up on your machine right now if you want.

Also let's not forget that Peer-2-Peer lobbies in games has been a thing for many years too, making it even easier to play in co-op than hosting and configuring a server yourself.
