What the hell can't reload the weapon nor healing item not working

Can you switch items or to another weapon?
I had the same bug a couple of times already where I couldn't do anything except for look at my bandages.
One time I fixed it by dropping every item I had, the other time I fixed it by letting a zombie grab me. Or try getting downed by one and reviving yourself.

It's an annoying bug that has the ability to end your character so I hope they fix it ASAP.

Well happend sometimes to me too. Drop on the ground then pick up again, should work.

I think I've had this bug multiple times it has something to do with the flash light toggle it with Q then try to switch to a weapon or something else, I found turning off the option to re-equip items on hand fixed it for me.

Mantle onto a ledge or something when this happens, itll fix the bug.

if it doesnt let you select meds, drop then pick back up
