to quote one of the comments on this video:
"Absolutely unbelievable to learn that NMRiH2 was damn near EA-release ready circa 2021 and was scrapped post TB buyout. Years of waiting, being strung along by nothingburger devlogs about 3d assets and soundtracks, and we get a pale imitation of what was already decently fleshed out 3.5 years ago. It's certainly far from perfect (even far from being a finished product) but the radial inventory menu, classic ammo variety, working animations/AI, infection/suicide mechanic, zombie children, zombie dismemberment, and 3 full maps ready to go speak VOLUMES compared to what's available for $30 right now. NMRiH was always memorable for its slow, methodical gameplay and grounded, cohesive atmosphere and it's clear to me that this build from the OG devs had that same atmosphere well underway while TB is modernizing the IP into an uninspired extraction shooter for a wider audience who never played the original. The "Early Access" promise of new content/improvements is one the industry has seen played out ad nauseam and does nothing to quell my ever-growing doubts about this game's future. Copium huffers may rush to defend their purchase, but I take a lot of issue with paying for a game that isn't just unfinished or sorely lacking in polish, but a game that has actively regressed in quality over its development."
They are REALLY good. Not sure what the OP is talking about. But I have a 4090 so...
With less content than the first one at the release.
