3. Players should have to channel their map for 6 seconds to update objective markers; not instantly. I support objective markers because the survivors would not have the map memorized, and the game should be balanced around you reacting to randomly spawning objectives.
4. I'm fine with stamina, I don't want the core gameplay loop to just be tetris, map difficulty should come from rationing map movement vs time. Characters that are lighter (normal girls) or heavier (fatties) should have more/less movespeed inverse their melee damage for variety.
5. Spawn less ammo.
6. Should be more common.
7. Honestly, disable world chat and disable global radio comms. I think players should have to split up in game and make guesses as to whether the others are still alive.
9. Players that have been revived should be crippled and sprint slower.
10. I think teams should have to trek back into the mission to attain gear sometimes, really just to force teams to split up. Maybe like activating an alarm or something off site on purpose to reduce the spawns that the main objective has. There should also be a way to leave other players for dead if you think the mission is going to ♥♥♥♥, although it should be hard to escape on foot as well. I think the game's core balance and difficulty should be based on a team rationing it's resources on the map working against time as zombie spawns slowly become deadlier.
I really don't like the idea of choosing difficulty because it's immersion breaking. Maybe players get shoveled into an easier map for each characters first run, and all subsequent runs are on harder maps. I hate the idea of being able to choose to have easier or harder matches. Nightmare mode should be a random occurrence that get's revealed to players randomly in the middle of a match, and then they have to decide if they try to complete the mission or bail.
I'm not a "pro" nmrih1 player although i've played it over the years on various accounts and enjoyed it. I'd be interested in hearing other players thoughts.
