No More Room in Hell 2

No More Room in Hell 2

the reception is crazy compared to Forever Winter
take away the fact this is a sequel, bc it isn't, it's a completely different game than nmrih1 with the same name. aside from that, this game is just as broken as Forever Winter, with similar lack of content to boot.

I'm personally disappointed with both games (will be refunding NMRIH2 and wishing I could do the same for FW), but it's just interesting to see the massive contrast in steam reviews, and how much goodwill applies to people's opinions.

Yeah but... Forever Winter released in alpha because gen z couldn't keep it in their pants, after watching streamers get access in the game. Forever Winter developers obliged.

but the game itself is still busted. the gameplay is literally avoid enemies, press F to open box, pick up png's, and head to extract. it does have more maps, but half of them are practically unplayable without a solid system and get repetitive fast. IMO, the same level of jank and lack of content is in NMRIH2 as well. in terms of substance, they're comparable.

also just checked and it's CRAZY they had roughly 15k players on release, now down to 5k. imagine if they released an actual, working game, what a fumble.

People asked to play the game, I dunno what's so hard to understand:

Well, at least SOMEONE is able to notice this.

I will say that this game does more than Forever Winter, at least the zombies are working with a fully dynamic AI, the foundation are here, the game is what had been advertised.

Influencers sold me The Forever Winter as a dynamic war simulator when in reality everything spawn in a bubble around you. Also we'll see if they take the Fun Dog way of supporting their game, aka releasing useless small hotfix while making 5 "Q&A sessions" in a row.

Oh, and there is raw mouse input in this. :)

Got both and tbh had fun in both. But I also went into both expecting lack of content and bugs/performance issues. Like Cryonic said Forever Winter community asked for it early and encouraged people to NOT buy the game (which most people ignored anyway) if you wanted a smooth complete experience. Nobody really asked for alpha release of nmrih2. That being said it has potential but thats the hit or miss of early access: whether or not they'll reach the potential and follow through with the roadmap

i get that. i'm talking about the substance of both games. to me they're on the same par, NMRIH2 has 1 map with actual objectives, POIs, and stuff to do, while FW has multiple maps that are all but dead with png filled containers. to me they're both on par content-wise and in terms of gameplay too, which is why it's crazy to see the disparity in terms of reviews. people just get too emotional to realize both titles at their core are currently, in all intents and purposes, playable CONCEPTS instead of being actual games. yet one community will eat it up and ask for more, while another will raze it to the ground.

Bingo.

This game is not nearly as broken as forever winter.

ping issues aside, i agree. but the networking issues hurt NMRIH2 too much to consider it much better than FW atm

Forever Winter is a new IP, so it's expected.

NMRIH2 is a sequel. Huge difference.

We cant even save in the forever winter demo. Wolves killed me while on a bio break after hours of gameplay.. F that game. ..Until release anyway

Had more fun in Forever Winter. No servers, so all your attacks connect 1 to 1, instead of delays with this game like an MMO game. Everything you do in this game have delay so enjoyment is nowhere to be found.

again, focus on the substance. and this is not a sequel in any sense other than the number 2 slapped on the title; this is a completely different style of game than the original nmrih
