I think that was a good choice, tbh. And I'd probably think the same. In it's current state, it looks more like an alpha version of the game and they're asking a very high price for what they're providing, imo. This feels like they're just using the name IP for a quick cash grab with 0 respect for the original game. I haven't bought it because I can't support that.
Good to know. Thank you! I watched my friend play and that was one of the questions we had. He had the battery, just wasn't sure what to do with it.
I was granted LV10 to my first character post extraction.
I personally believe ranged weapons to be heavily balanced currently. They could gladly receive huge nerf's tho if they ever decided to remove the 'red-eyed menaces'.
Swarms are almost unbeatable solo. Its heavily balanced around teamwork which makes it fun.
Lastly the zombies do look egregious, but at least the 'fresh' ones look almost alive. You will notice the 'bloodied and gored' zombies to be the 'red-menaces' I hinted to earlier. They take a beating and keep on eating. At least they don't run?
they shouldn't region lock asia or russia, this is not a game where hackers would be THAT bad.
they should just give us an abiliti to choose servers
Also your rant is hella strange for someone who doesn't even own the game.
in NMRiH 2 there should just be a way to pick a server for yourself.
I'm actually mostly not thinking about hackers, although that is a concern too. But they never speak English, they're horribly sexist and treat anyone who doesn't speak their own language like crap, yet insist on going on servers where there will be English speaking people. So...in my opinion, they should play with each other. And not with the rest of EU, where most people at least know and are willing to speak some English so that the whole team can understand each other and work together. Not to mention the ping limit. If Asia and A huge section of Russia play with EU, they will have super high ping and everyone will lag. There are a LOT of Russians and they completely flood any server. So it wouldn't ruin the game for them to just play within russia.
The ability to choose servers up to a certain ping limit would help. But I think there should still be region locks.
That's good to know at least :) Ty!
First. Ty for your very resonable input :) My main reason for not wanting loadouts is that I want the weapons you get each game to be random. Like in the first game. You spawned in a room with some weapons scattered around and you had to go and pick out the one you wanted before anyone else could take it. I actually liked that aspect of the game.
And yeah, I've understood that the game is really hard. Which is why I suggested the respawn thing ^^ Private lobbies would also hugely help, imo. Then you could play with people who you knew would do some teamwork with you. They desperately need private lobbies above any other addition to the game, imo.
And even fresh zombies would've had to be bitten to become zombies. So I still think there should be some sign of that in every single zombie model. And when you die, you become pale. And the zombies in this game look very...average. Just a lazy design, if you ask me ^^ But this is common for early access games, which is why I didn't put it in the "Bare minimum"-list.
