My biggest fears being this becoming a AA money-milking machine which it'll probably become (especially in this day and with studio closures left and right). Again, pure speculation but I've hard-avoided extraction shooters because they're all just PvP games with PvE being barely worth mentioning. They *say* it's an 8-player coop extraction game, and hey, maybe it's the "same game" as NMRiH 1 but with progression across sessions?
The gameplay loop of the first one was basically "gather" weapon and supplies- complete objectives, escape. Now I'm guessing it's gather points-based supplies alongside the regular stuff, complete objectives, escape- have a better chance in the next game.
I'm giving Lever Games the benefit of the doubt, let's hope this doesn't become just another trendy piece of garbage.
lol when you ragebait you have to actually try man, like cmon Wolfy6 doin a better job lmao.
but I do agree its bogus when devs make changes that are basically a big middle finger to their original fans who got them where they are.
Honestly if they keep this crap up it will be up to the NMRIH1 Modding community with experience working with Unreal engine to make an actual successor to NMRIH, not this corporate polluted cesspit of a cash cow ponzi scheme,
I'm all for it.
