Please I beg you to add split screen multiplayer

Look at Contagion, game is just amazing survival game and has got split screen.

Please add it.

Splitscreen wasn't even a thing in 2009. The PS3/360 era saw nearly no splitscreen games except maybe one or two. You'd have to go back to the PS2/XB era, circa 2005.

Though I agree with you, I think the issue is games now with their standards of graphical fidelity require so much power and resources to render it twice, even at lower levels, that they don't even bother, because if it doesn't look good why make it?
