Story Mission Gear

So, as far as I can tell, a lot of the gear exclusive to fighters in the story missions (not unique characters) doesn't actually drop on completion—and it isn't available as normal drops (olympus for example).

Do I seriously need to do complete the entire game several times over just so I can catch every single unit that has the gear I'm missing?

Yeah... to get all the bear fight cosmetics, you have to do the story over quite a few times... since you don't get it by drop, and you have to capture it all. I do however believe Dan, the lead Developer of the game, mentioned he's going to try fixing this for us to make it easier. You also CAN trade for those items if you aren't willing to do them. If there is one you need specifically, I might just give you it and get me a new one, i'm going to be doing the story over and over for a while anyways lol

We're looking into introducing another way of getting them in Update 7.

really all we need is a way to replay specific missions rather than have to go through the whole story again. Granted its not as long of a story as I expected, but still, lol.

I know I'm a little late to this and don't know if you figured it out already but you can get all the olympus gear without capturing anyone.
When sneaking around as Yosef they are lying around in chests and if you go next to them you pick them up and can use them when the mission is over.
Not sure if you already figured this out or not but I thought I might as well mention it since you mentioned the olympus items by name....

As far as I'm aware you can't get items such as the cyclops eyeball throwable some of the enemies in that mission have unless you capture them. Correct me if I'm wrong on that.

The only things that I think you can't get from the chests are the things the hall minotaur had, while every item you would find in the chests all matched and looked similar the eyeballs didn't seem to fit in with this theme so my guess is either I just missed them or you do have to capture them, or you can get them from anywhere and they just used them in this mission since they fit in.

You can't get the heavy shield, heavy helm and the hammer from the chests. The ICU axes were previously available in the market; not sure if they still are
